~~Snowflakes~~

The wonder of a winter
night
As snowflakes touch the
earth,
Is watching the fire
glowing
As sparks hit upon the
hearth ...
How nice to grab a book
And cuddle in a chair,
Glancing out frosted
windows
Watching snow fly
through the air ...
The stillness of the
evening
The bright December
moon,
Create a grand illusion
As these snowflakes hum
a tune ...
They bring us great
tranquility
As they slowly form a
mound,
A powdery white illusion
As they gently hit the
ground ...
How beautiful the moment
When all the earth is
still,
Everywhere there's
purity
On each and every hill
...
But morning brings
excitement
As the kids fly from
their bed,
Getting their winter
play clothes
And grabbing the nearest
sled ...
Suddenly the stillness
That filled the night
before,
Is lost in another
splendor
As the youngsters squeal
for more ...
What a winter marvel
For all to now behold,
And the glory of this
wonder
Is ours be young or old
...
Only God can create a
snowflake
So beautiful and small,
But God provides all
miracles
Whether winter, spring
or fall ...
