It's a Boy!

 What a wonderful feeling of pride and joy,
An angelic grandson, a beautiful boy!
So tiny and sweet and soft as the snow,
He's our first grandson, of course, you know!

Five little fingers and five tiny toes,
With the cutest little button nose!
His eyes how they sparkle so perfectly bright,
Like crystal stars shining in the night.


What a beautiful baby from heaven above,
His world will be filled with so much love,
When he sleeps, he looks like an angel so sweet,
From the top of his halo, to his tiny feet!


Oh, what a wonderful feeling, knowing he's ours
Our treasured grandson, will fill lonely hours,
Brightly glowing in our hearts with each beat
Just like candy kisses, so dainty and sweet!

Who'd ever think that this tiny lad
Would dance in your heart and make you so glad,
That God blessed you with this special child
So precious, so loving, so perfectly styled.
 

Oh, he's the best, no doubt, no fear
We'll continually whisper that in his ear,
So he'll grow up big and strong being loved
With wishes soft as a beautiful dove.

Years will come and years will go
But the love he receives, he'll always know,
God in heaven blessed us on earth
With grandson Anthony's miraculous birth!

Thank you, Father, for our family blessing
This angel in blue, we'll forever be caressing,
Your love and name will be his pleasure,
As you've blessed us with this wonderful treasure!

Know that we'll ever be by his side
And our love for him, we'll never hide,
He'll be raised in a home blessed with Your love
And he'll know of Your kingdom, heaven above!

Thank you, Lord, for this wonderful boy
Know that our goal is glorious joy,
Love in our heart there will always be
Thank you, Dear God for sending him to me!
