SEASONAL REMINDERS

Above the hills I wander
In a land above all rest,
From there I sit and marvel
At God's beauty at its best ...

He's given us a world
Of wonders to behold,
All glorious things that surround us
Are more precious than any gold ...

The birds sing out their song
In sounds so soft and sweet,
The flowers bloom in gardens
The fields bear golden wheat ...

The seasons of the year
All have a special glow,
The colored leaves of autumn
The winter's glistening snow ...

Each spring the world awakens
As the flowers again arise,
And the trees in all their beauty
Enfold before our eyes ...

The warmth of the summer sun
And the softness of the sand,
Bring a gentle reminder
Of the beauty of our land ...

Every ocean, brook and river
Fall softly on each shore,
And the images reflecting on the lake
Begging to show us much more ...

Only God can paint a picture
Only He can create a tree,
But He shares with us His world
So all of us can see ...

And marvel at the goodness
He's given one and all,
We have seasons to appreciate
Be it summer, spring, winter or fall!
